The Griptide Darts have grip over the whole length of the barrel making them well suited for front middle or rear grippers. The ripple style grooves combined with radius grooves between them at the front and rear of the dart enhances the grip intensity and when you hold these darts it isn't hard to see the difference adding these grooves has made.
