A really enjoyable refurb of this Newbery classic. Traditional profile and light pick-up, the Series 1 is popular with traditional stroke-players and experienced batsman who play off the front foot and through the 'V'. This bat has had a toe repair to a very high standard which won't affect performance. I have stripped it back, sanded, linseed waxed and applied a brand new enkay rubber grip. Sold a Series 1 in slightly less quality condition earlier this week for £90. Looking for similar - this one priced slightly lower due to the repair and ping not quite as good.
