The ring on the reel seat hood shows signs of blue rust and corrosion. There are no noticeable epoxy cracks running horizontally across the threads of any of the guides. Otherwise, while there are fine scratches visible upon close inspection throughout the rod, there do not appear to be any prominent, deep gouges or scratches that would raise concerns about breakage.
