Kobe Bryant's 2000-2001 season would further showcase his iconic performances on a relentless quest for greatness, as he secured his second consecutive NBA Championship, back-to-back. Only his 5th year in the league, Bryant had one of his best seasons, averaging 28.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. He was selected to the All-NBA Defensive 1st Team on his way to a dominant display throughout the playoffs. In the Conference Semifinals, Kobe led the Lakers to a 4-0 sweep against the Kings, including an incredible Game 4 performance when he scored 48 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Bryant would dominate again in the first game of the Western Conference Finals, with 45 points (including 5 dunks) and 10 rebounds against the Spurs.
