The striking blue England goalkeeper kit from the 2005–2007 cycle (including the 2006 World Cup) was manufactured by Umbro. It is famously associated with first-choice goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who wore the uniform during the majority of the qualifying matches and the 2006 tournament in Germany. The classic design featured a clean blue body with navy accents and an embroidered Three Lions badge. Aside from Robinson, the kit was also worn by David James and occasionally Scott Carson.
